Read Before Used:
  • Starting Date:
    • Instruction: Select the date when the employee joins the company.
    • Example: If the employee started working on January 15, 2024, you would select “January 15, 2024” as the starting date.
  • Ending Date (if applicable):
    • Instruction: If the employee is on a short-term contract, select the ending date. Otherwise, leave it empty, and it will automatically calculate holidays until the end of the current year.
    • Example 1: If the employee’s contract ends on September 30, 2024, you would select “September 30, 2024” as the ending date.
    • Example 2: If the employee is not on a short-term contract, you would leave this field empty, and the calculator will automatically calculate holidays until December 31, 2024.
  • Percentage of Full-Time:
    • Instruction: If the employee is full-time, leave the value as 100. If the employee is part-time (e.g., working 20 hours out of a full-time equivalent of 40 hours), input the percentage accordingly.
    • Example 1: If the employee works full-time, you would input 100.
    • Example 2: If the employee works part-time and their workload is 50% of a full-time equivalent, you would input 50.
  • Total Yearly Holidays:
    • Instruction: Type the total number of holidays the employee is entitled to in a year.
    • Example: If the employee is entitled to 20 days of annual leave per year, you would input 20.
  • Other Holidays (e.g., bank holidays):
    • Instruction: If you want to provide any other holidays to the employee during their contract period, input the number of additional holidays here.
    • Example: If the employee is entitled to 5 additional bank holidays, you would input 5.
